Parley P. Pratt

Apostle and Missionary of the

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

This site is about Parley P. Pratt and his story. Parley was one of the first Apostles and missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church) and his autobiography includes many references to early Church history. His story tells us a lot about the importance of missionary work and about the sacrifices that were and still are associated with it.

Jesus Door Knock MormonThis site will include his complete autobiography since it is in the public domain. Over time we will be adding comments and introductions to the several chapters of the autobiography and we will link these pages to other important and related sources.

We hope that members and not members of the Mormon Church will learn more about his story and will learn to love the Gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ as he did.

He was not perfect, as any other man or woman who lived on this planet (with the exception of the Lord Jesus Christ), but his accomplishments were not few.
